Budate 400 mcg transcaps are used to relieve symptoms of asthma. Each capsule contains Budesonide 400 mcg.

Budesonide is a synthetic glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating properties. Budesonide induces the expression of glucocorticoid-responsive genes that encode anti-inflammatory mediators such as certain anti-inflammatory cytokines and lipocortins. As a result, the synthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes is prevented, which are responsible for inflammation.

Use of Budate 400 mcg Transcaps:

Budate 400 mcg transcaps belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids. Budate 400 mcg transcaps are prescribed as prophylactic therapy in persistent asthma and to reduce exacerbations of COPD. This medicine is not for the relief of acute bronchospasm.

Usage direction of Budate 400 mcg Transcaps:

• Budate 400 mcg transcaps are meant for inhalation use only.

• Before using Budate 400 mcg transcaps, know the administration process properly from the pack.

• Capsules are intended for inhalation through Lupihaler & not to be swallowed.

• Shake well before use.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

• Do not discontinue use without physicians’ advice.
