About Bosentas 62.5 mg Tablet:

Each film-coated Bosentas 62.5 mg tablet contains Bosentan Monohydrate equivalent to Bosentan 62.5 mg.

Use of Bosentas 62.5 mg Tablet:

Bosentas 62.5 mg tablet is indicated for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).

Usage Direction of Bosentas 62.5 mg Tablet:

  • Bosentas 62.5 mg tablet should be taken orally.
  • Bosentas 62.5 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related Information of Bosentas 62.5 mg Tablet:

  • If allergic to this medicine inform the physician immediately.
  • If find any complication inform the physician immediately.
  • Due to potential of the drugs to cause serious liver injury, serum aminotransferase levels should be measured in patients prior to initiation of treatment and then monthly. Elevations is aminotransferase require close attention. Bosensan should generally avoided in patients with elevated aminotransferase (greater than 3 * ULN) at baseline because monitoring liver injury may be more difficult. If liver aminotransferase elevations are accompanied by clinical symptoms of liver injury (such as nausea, vomiting, fever, abdominal pain, jaundice or unusual lethargy or fatigue) or increases in bilirubin greater than equals to 2 * ULN, treatment should be stopped.
  • Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation. Bosentas 62.5 mg tablet is very likely to produce major birth defects if used by pregnant women, as this effect has been seen consistently when it is administered to animals. Therefore, pregnancy must be excluded before the start of treatment with bosentan and prevented thereafter by the use of a reliable method of contraception. Monthly pregnancy tests should be obtained.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
