About Basalog One 100 IU/ml Pen :

Basalog One 100 IU/ml Pen is a Insulin Glargine Injection (rDNA origin). Each ml of Basalog One 100 IU/ml Pen contains: Insulin Glargine (rDNA) 100 IU, m-Cresol (as preservative) 2.7 mg and Excipients q.s.

Use Basalog One 100 IU/ml Pen :

Basalog One 100 IU/ml Pen is prescribed for the treatment of Diabetes mellitus.

Usage direction Basalog One 100 IU/ml Pen :

• Use Basalog One 100 IU/ml Pen exactly as your physician tells you. Your physician will tell you the right dose and duration of use as per patient's condition. Never change or skip the dose.
• Before using Basalog One 100 IU/ml Pen know the process of adjusting pen with respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow usage instruction pack inside.
• Administer Basalog One 100 IU/ml Pen subcutaneously into the abdominal area, thigh, or deltoid, and rotate injection sites.
• The Injection solution must be clear and colourless, do not use if solution is coloured, cloudy or any floating particle observed.

Precaution & Related information of Basalog One 100 IU/ml Pen :

• Never share a Basalog One 100 IU/ml Pen, syringe, or needle between patients.
• Please take precaution during the use of Basalog One 100 IU/ml Pen in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
• Do not use the exact same spot for each injection. Do not inject where the skin has pits, is thickened, or has lumps.
• If you are taking any other medication and any other supplement please inform your physician.
• If you find any other complication during taking this medication inform your physician immediately.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy or lactation.
• Storage: Keep unused Pen in a refrigerator at temperature between 2°C to 8°C. Must not be allowed to freeze. When in use Pen may be kept at room temperature (below 30°C) for upto 28 days.
• Do not store the pen with needle attached.
