About Basalog Injection 100 IU/ml  :

Basalog Injection 100 IU/ml is a Insulin Glargine injection (rDNA origin). Each ml Basalog Injection 100 IU/ml contains Insulin Glargine (rDNA) 100 IU, m-Cresol 2.7 mg (as preservative) and Excipients q.s.

Use of Basalog Injection 100 IU/ml  :

Basalog Injection 100 IU/ml is prescribed for the treatment of Diabetes mellitus. Basalog Injection 100 IU/ml may be used for both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Usage direction of Basalog Injection 100 IU/ml  :

• Use Basalog Injection 100 IU/ml exactly as your physician tells you. Your physician will tell you the right dose and duration of use as per patient's condition. Never change or skip the dose.
• Before using Basalog Injection 100 IU/ml know the administration process from the pack inside.
• Administer Basalog Injection 100 IU/ml subcutaneously into the abdominal area, thigh, or deltoid, and rotate injection sites.
• The injection must be clear and colourless, do not use if solution is coloured, cloudy or any floating particle observed.

Precaution & Related information of Basalog Injection 100 IU/ml  :

• Never share a Basalog Injection 100 IU/ml , syringe, or needle between patients.
• Please take precaution during the use of Basalog Injection 100 IU/ml in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
• Do not use the exact same spot for each injection. Do not inject where the skin has pits, is thickened, or has lumps.
• If you are taking any other medication and any other supplement please inform your physician.
• If you find any other complication during taking this medication inform your physician immediately.
• Do not mix with other insulins or solution.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy or lactation.
• Storage: Store in a refrigerator at temperature between 2°C to 8°C. It should not allowed to freeze. In-use Condition - Basalog vials that are in use can be kept at room temperature not above 30°C (86°F) up to 28 days.
