About Basalog Refil 100 IU/ml Cartridge :

Basalog Refil 100 IU/ml Cartridge is a Insulin Glargine injection (rDNA origin). Each ml Basalog Refil 100 IU/ml Cartridge contains Insulin Glargine (rDNA) 100 IU, m-Cresol 2.7 mg (as preservative) and Excipients q.s.

Use of Basalog Refil 100 IU/ml Cartridge :

Basalog Refil 100 IU/ml Cartridge is prescribed for the treatment of Diabetes mellitus. Basalog Refil 100 IU/ml Cartridge may be used for both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Usage direction of Basalog Refil 100 IU/ml Cartridge :

  • Use Basalog Refil 100 IU/ml Cartridge exactly as your physician tells you. Your physician will tell you the right dose and duration of use as per patient's condition. Never change or skip the dose.
  • Before using Basalog Refil 100 IU/ml Cartridge know the process of adjusting pen with respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow usage instruction pack inside.
  • Administer Basalog Refil 100 IU/ml Cartridge subcutaneously into the abdominal area, thigh, or deltoid, and rotate injection sites.
  • Use only clear, colourless and aqueous solution, do not use if solution is coloured, cloudy or any floating particle observed.

Precaution & Related information of Basalog Refil 100 IU/ml Cartridge :

  • Never share a Basalog Refil 100 IU/ml Cartridge, syringe, or needle between patients.
  • Please take precaution during the use of Basalog Refil 100 IU/ml Cartridge in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
  • Do not use the exact same spot for each injection. Do not inject where the skin has pits, is thickened, or has lumps.
  • If you are taking any other medication and any other supplement please inform your physician.
  • If you find any other complication during taking this medication inform your physician immediately.
  • Do not mix with other insulins or solution.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy or lactation.
  • Storage: Store in a refrigerator at temperature between 2°C to 8°C. It should not allowed to freeze. In-use Condition - The solution can be kept at room temperature below 25°C up to 28 days, once the cartridge has been put to use.
  • Do not expose excessive heat or direct sunlight.
