About Basaglar KwikPen 100 IU/ml Insulin Pen :

Basaglar KwikPen 100 IU/ml Insulin Pen is a Insulin Glargine injection  Each ml Basaglar KwikPen 100 IU/ml Insulin Pen contains 100 units Insulin Glargine (equivalent to 3.64 mg), Glycerin 17 mg, Metacresol Ph. Eur. 2.7 mg, Zinc oxide q.s. to provide Zn2+ content of 0.03 mg, Hydrochloric acid solution 10%, Sodium hydroxide solution 10%, Water for injection  q.s. to 1 ml.

Use of Basaglar KwikPen 100 IU/ml Insulin Pen :

Basaglar KwikPen 100 IU/ml Insulin Pen is prescribed for the treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. Basaglar KwikPen 100 IU/ml Insulin Pen may be used for both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Usage direction of Basaglar KwikPen 100 IU/ml Insulin Pen :

  • Use Basaglar KwikPen 100 IU/ml Insulin Pen exactly as your physician tells you. Your physician will tell you the right dose and duration of use as per patient's condition. Never change or skip the dose.
  • Before using Basaglar KwikPen 100 IU/ml Insulin Pen know the process of adjusting pen with respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow usage instruction pack inside.
  • Administer Basaglar KwikPen 100 IU/ml Insulin Pen subcutaneously into the abdominal area, thigh, or deltoid, and rotate injection sites.
  • Use only clear, colourless and aqueous solution, do not use if solution is coloured, cloudy or any floating particle observed.

Precaution & Related information of Basaglar KwikPen 100 IU/ml Insulin Pen :

  • Never share a Basaglar KwikPen 100 IU/ml Insulin Pen , syringe, or needle between patients.
  • Please take precaution during the use of Basaglar KwikPen 100 IU/ml Insulin Pen in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
  • Do not use the exact same spot for each injection. Do not inject where the skin has pits, is thickened, or has lumps.
  • Discard 28 days after first use.
  • If you are taking any other medication and any other supplement please inform your physician.
  • If you find any other complication during taking this medication inform your physician immediately.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy or lactation.
  • Storage: Before use - Store in a refrigerator between 2°C to 8°C. Store in original package to protect from light. In Use - Store below 30°C for up to 28 days. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
  • Recap the pen after use to protect from light.
