Bacstol Tablet is an antibacterial medication, indicated for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections.
Each uncoated Bacstol Tablet contains Trimethoprim 100 mg.
Trimethoprim belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial nucleic acid and proteins, which is required for bacterial survival.
Uses of Bacstol Tablet:
Bacstol Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections including urinary tract infections, and respiratory tract infections.
Usage Direction of Bacstol Tablet:
- Bacstol Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
- Bacstol Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
- Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
- Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.
