About Bacstol 200 mg Tablet:

Bacstol 200 mg Tablet is an antibacterial medication, indicated for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections.

Each uncoated Bacstol 200 mg Tablet contains Trimethoprim 200 mg.

Trimethoprim belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial nucleic acid and proteins, which is  required for bacterial survival.

Uses of Bacstol 200 mg Tablet:

Bacstol 200 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections including urinary tract infections, and respiratory tract infections.

Usage Direction of Bacstol 200 mg Tablet:

  • Bacstol 200 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Bacstol 200 mg Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Bacstol 200 mg Tablet:

  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Bacstol 200 mg Tablet.
