About Baclof OD 20 mg Tablet:

Baclof OD 20 mg tablet is used for the treatment of muscle stiffness.

Each uncoated extended release (GRS) Baclof OD 20 mg tablet contains Baclofen 20 mg.

Baclofen, a structural analogue of neurotransmitter GABA, is a centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxant. It inhibits the transmission of both monosynaptic and polysynaptic reflexes, possibly by stimulating the GABA-B-receptors or by hyperpolarisation of the primary afferent fibre terminals resulting in muscle spasticity relief.

Uses of Baclof OD 20 mg Tablet:

Baclof OD 20 mg tablet is a muscle relaxant and an antispasmodic medication. It is prescribed to diminish the signs and symptoms of muscle spasticity resulting from various conditions such as multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, or other motor neuron diseases, etc.

Usage direction of Baclof OD 20 mg Tablet:

• Baclof OD 20 mg tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Baclof OD 20 mg tablet is to be swallowed as a whole.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Baclof OD 20 mg tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
