About Azithral Kid Tablet:

Each uncoated dispersible Azithral Kid tablet contains Azithromycin 100 mg.

Azithral Kid tablet is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Azithral Kid tablet blocks transpeptidation by binding to 50s ribosomal subunit of susceptible organisms and disrupting RNA-dependent protein synthesis at the chain elongation step. It stops the bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins.

Uses of Azithral Kid Tablet:

Azithral Kid tablet is a macrolide antibacterial drug, used for the treatment of patients with the following bacterial infections:

• Upper respiratory tract infections such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, etc.
• Acute otitis media
• Lower respiratory tract infections such as acute bronchitis and mild to moderately severe community-acquired pneumonia
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Uncomplicated Chlamydia trachomatis urethritis and cervicitis.
• Uncomplicated gonorrhea, etc.

Usage Direction of Azithral Kid Tablet:

• Azithral Kid tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Disperse the tablet in 5 ml (teaspoonful) of boiled and cooled water immediately before administration.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related Information of Azithral Kid Tablet:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Azithral Kid tablet.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Azithral Kid tablet with any other medication.
• Keep the medicine out of reach of children.
