About Azifast Gel:
Azifast Gel contains Azithromycin dihydrate equivalent to Azithromycin Anhydrous 2% w/w.
Azifast Gel is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Azifast Gel blocks transpeptidation by binding to 50s ribosomal subunit of susceptible organisms and disrupting RNA-dependent protein synthesis at the chain elongation step. It stops the bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins.
Uses of Azifast Gel:
Azifast Gel contains Azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic that fights bacteria. Azifast Gel is used in the treatment of dermatological diseases like acne vulgaris.
Usage direction of Azifast Gel:
- Azifast Gel is intended for external use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
- Wash and dry the affected area before applying the medicine.
- Do not stop or skip the medicine without the physician’s advice.
- Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.
