About Avacard AT Tablet:

Avacard AT Tablet is a combination medication, indicated to manage high blood pressure and lower the risk of other associated cardiovascular disorders.

Each uncoated Avacard AT Tablet contains Amlodipine Besilate equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg and Atenolol 50 mg.

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker. By relaxing the blood vessels, it reduces the blood pressure, thereby, improving blood flow to the heart.

Atenolol is a beta-blocker. By relaxing the blood vessels, it lowers the blood pressure.

Uses of Avacard AT Tablet:

Avacard AT Tablet is prescribed for the management of high blood pressure and reduces the risk of other associated cardiovascular disorders such as angina (heart-related chest pain).

Usage Direction of Avacard AT Tablet:

  • Avacard AT Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Avacard AT Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Avacard AT Tablet:

  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Avacard AT Tablet.
  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
  • The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Avacard AT Tablet with any other medication.
  • Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Avacard AT Tablet:
