About Atz 50 mg Tablet:

Atz 50 mg tablet is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and prevent organ transplant rejection.

Each film coated Atz 50 mg tablet contains Azathioprine 50 mg and Excipients q.s.

Azathioprine is an imidazolyl derivative of mercaptopurine. It exhibits its mode of action by inhibits RNA & DNA synthesis and antagonizes purine synthesis. It interferes with cellular metabolism by restricting coenzyme functioning and formation. It may also hinder mitosis.

Use of Atz 50 mg Tablet:

Atz 50 mg tablet belongs to a group of medicines known as immunosuppressants. It is prescribed to treat autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and prevent organ transplant rejection.

Usage direction of Atz 50 mg Tablet:

• Atz 50 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Atz 50 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
