About Atecard AM Tablet:
Atecard AM Tablet is a combination medication, indicated to manage high blood pressure and lower the risk of other associated cardiovascular disorders.
Each uncoated Atecard AM Tablet contains Atenolol 50 mg and Amlodipine Besilate equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg.
Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker. By relaxing the blood vessels, it reduces the blood pressure, thereby, improving blood flow to the heart.
Atenolol is a beta-blocker. By relaxing the blood vessels, it lowers the blood pressure.
Uses of Atecard AM Tablet:
Atecard AM Tablet is prescribed for the management of high blood pressure and reduces the risk of other associated cardiovascular disorders such as angina (heart-related chest pain).
Usage Direction of Atecard AM Tablet:
- Atecard AM Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
- Atecard AM Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
- Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
- Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.
Precaution & Related information of Atecard AM Tablet:
- Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Atecard AM Tablet.
- Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
- The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Atecard AM Tablet with any other medication.
- Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
- Keep the medicine out of reach of children.
Storage condition of Atecard AM Tablet:
Store protected from light and moisture at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
