About Asthalin Respule:

Asthalin Respule is a bronchodilator group of medicines indicated for the management of bronchospasm in patient with reversible obstructive airway diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or other lung diseases.

Each 2.5 ml Asthalin Respule contains Salbutamol Sulphate equivalent to Salbutamol 2.5 mg.

Salbutamol is a selective beta-2-adrenergic agonist. It acts on the beta-2 adrenoceptors of the bronchial muscle and opens up the small airways in the lungs to make breathing easier. Therefore, prevent or relieve symptoms (wheezing, shortness of breath, coughing, and chest tightness) of bronchospasm, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Use of Asthalin Respule:

Asthalin Respule is prescribed for the management of bronchospasm in patient with reversible obstructive airway diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or other lung diseases.

It is also indicated for the prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm in patients 4 years of age and older.

Usage Direction of Asthalin Respule:

• Asthalin Respule is intended for oral inhalation use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Asthalin Respule should be used with a respirator or nebuliser only, under the direction of a physician.
• Tear one respule from the combipack.
• To open the respule, twist off the cap.
• Squeeze the content into the reservoir of the nebulizing chamber.
• Discard the respule after use.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not inhale more than the prescribed quantity.
• Read accompanying enclosed leaflet or label instruction before use.

Precaution & Related information of Asthalin Respule:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Asthalin Respule, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant inhalation of this respule with any other medicines.
• Use the content of each respule as soon as possible after opening.
• Use a fresh respule for each use.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of the reach of children.

Storage condition of Asthalin Respule:

• Store below 25°C. Protect from light and moisture.
