About Asthalin Inhaler:

Asthalin Inhaler is a bronchodilator group of medicines indicated for the management of bronchospasm in patient with reversible obstructive airway diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or other lung diseases.

Each actuation delivers: Salbutamol Sulphate equivalent to Salbutamol 100 mcg.

Salbutamol is a selective beta-2-adrenergic agonist. It acts on the beta-2 adrenoceptors of the bronchial muscle and opens up the small airways in the lungs to make breathing easier. Therefore, prevent or relieve symptoms (wheezing, shortness of breath, coughing, and chest tightness) of bronchospasm, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Use of Asthalin Inhaler:

Asthalin Inhaler is prescribed for the management of bronchospasm in patient with reversible obstructive airway diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or other lung diseases.

It is also indicated for the prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm in patients 4 years of age and older.

Usage Direction of Asthalin Inhaler:

  • Asthalin Inhaler is intended for oral inhalation only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not exceed the recommended dose.
  • Read accompanying enclosed leaflet or label instruction before use.

Precaution & Related information of Asthalin Inhaler:

  • If hypersensitive or allergic to Asthalin Inhaler, inform the physician immediately.
  • If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
  • If paradoxical bronchospasm occurs, Asthalin Inhaler should be discontinued immediately and alternative therapy instituted.
  • If patients with cardiovascular disorders, especially coronary insufficiency, cardiac arrhythmias and hypertension, precaution should also be taken before initiation the treatment with Asthalin Inhaler.
  • The Physician should be well informed when concomitant use of this inhaler with any other medicines.
  • Keep the medicine away from eyes.
  • Keep away from children.
  • Pressurized canister, keep away from sunlight & heat.
  • Do not puncture, break or burn even when apparently empty.
  • Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.

Storage condition of Asthalin Inhaler:

  • Store below 30°C. Do not freeze.
