About Artiflo 4 mg Tablet:

Artiflo 4 mg tablet is an anticoagulant medication, which is used to prevent blood clot formation.

Each uncoated Artiflo 4 mg tablet contains Nicoumalone 4 mg and Excipients q.s.

Nicoumalone is an anticoagulant drug that inhibits vitamin K reductase, resulting in depletion of the reduced form of vitamin K (vitamin KH2). This depletion limits the gamma-carboxylation and subsequent activation of the vitamin K-dependent coagulant proteins. As a result, prothrombin levels and the amount of thrombin generation are decreased, which reduces the thrombogenicity of clots.

Use of Artiflo 4 mg Tablet:

Artiflo 4 mg tablet is indicated for the treatment and prevention of thromboembolic diseases. More specifically, for the treatment and prevention of cerebral embolism, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, thromboembolism in infarction, and transient ischemic attacks.

Usage direction of Artiflo 4 mg Tablet:

• Artiflo 4 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Artiflo 4 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
