About Arkamin H Tablet:

Arkamin H Tablet is a combination medication, indicated for the treatment of high blood pressure.

Each uncoated tablet contains Clonidine Hydrochloride 100 mcg, Hydrochlorothiazide 20 mg.

Clonidine belongs to the class of centrally acting alpha agonists. It reduces blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels.

Hydrochlorothiazide belongs to a class of diuretic medicines. It acts by increasing the production of more urine to excrete excess fluid and certain electrolytes from the body. In this way, it lowers high blood pressure.

Use of Arkamin H Tablet:

Arkamin H Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).

Usage Direction of Arkamin H Tablet:

• Arkamin H Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Arkamin H Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Arkamin H Tablet:

• If hypersensitive to clonidine or any of the other ingredients of Arkamin H Tablet, inform the physician immediately.  
• Consult with the physician if patients have a slow heart rate due to heart problems.
• Consult with the physician if patients have Raynaud’s disease (a problem with circulation to the fingers and toes) or other blood circulation problems, including circulation to the brain.
• Use with caution, If patients have severe kidney problems.
• Patients with a known history of depression should be carefully supervised while under long-term treatment with Arkamin H Tablet as there have been occasional reports of further depressive episodes during oral treatment in such patients.
• If patients have constipation, inform the physician.
• If the patients are suffering from a nerve disorder that causes hands and feet to feel different (‘altered sensation’) or low blood pressure when standing up.
• If the patient may feel drowsy, dizzy, or could have some disturbances of vision, the patient should not drive, operate machinery or take part in any activities.
• Do not drink alcohol while taking Arkamin H Tablet.    
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Arkamin H Tablet:

Store in a cool, dry, and dark place.
