About Anxiset 0.5 mg Tablet:

Anxiset 0.5 mg tablet is an antipsychotic medication used to treat schizophrenia.

Each film coated Anxiset 0.5 mg tablet contains Flupentixol Dihydrochloride equivalent to Flupentixol 0.5 mg.

Flupentixol, a thioxanthene derivative antipsychotic agent, inhibits the postsynaptic dopamine receptors in the CNS which results in the blockage of dopamine-mediated effects.

Use of Anxiset 0.5 mg Tablet:

Anxiset 0.5 mg tablet is prescribed for the management of psychosis (including delusions, hallucinations, paranoia, or disordered thought), principally in schizophrenia but also in a range of other psychotic disorders. It can also be used to treat depression with or without anxiety.

Usage direction of Anxiset 0.5 mg Tablet:

  • Anxiset 0.5 mg tablet should be taken orally.
  • Anxiset 0.5 mg tablet should be swallowed whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
