Amlodipine 5mg + Enalapril 5mg

About Amtas E Tablet:

Amtas E Tablet is a combination medication, indicated to manage uncontrolled high blood pressure and reduce the risk of other associated cardiovascular disorders.

Each uncoated Amtas E Tablet contains Amlodipine Besylate equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg and Enalapril Maleate 5 mg.

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker. By relaxing the blood vessels, it reduces the blood pressure, thereby, improving blood flow to the heart.

Enalapril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor. By relaxing the blood vessels, it lowers the blood pressure.

Uses of Amtas E Tablet:

Amtas E Tablet is prescribed for the management of uncontrolled high blood pressure and to reduce the risk of other associated cardiovascular disorders.

Usage Direction of Amtas E Tablet:

  • Amtas E Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Amtas E Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Amtas E Tablet:

  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Amtas E Tablet.
  • Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
  • The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Amtas E Tablet with any other medication.
  • Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Amtas E Tablet:

Store in a dark & dry place.
