About Ampoxin 500 mg Capsule:

Ampoxin 500 mg Capsule is a combination of two antibacterial medicines, indicated for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections.

Each capsule contains Ampicillin Trihydrate equivalent to Ampicillin 250 mg, Cloxacillin Sodium equivalent to Cloxacillin 250 mg.

Ampicillin and Cloxacillin both belong to a class of antibacterial medicines. Both medicines prevent bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is required for the bacteria to grow and multiply.

Use of Ampoxin 500 mg Capsule:

Ampoxin 500 mg Capsule is prescribed for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections (bronchopneumonia, acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis), fever associated with childbirth, septicemia, bone infections (osteomyelitis), ear, nose, & throat infections; post-operative wound & lung infections.

Usage Direction of Ampoxin 500 mg Capsule:

• Ampoxin 500 mg Capsule is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Ampoxin 500 mg Capsule is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the capsule.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Ampoxin 500 mg Capsule:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Ampoxin 500 mg Capsule, inform the physician immediately.  
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this capsule with any other medicines or supplements.
