About Ampilox C Injection:

Ampilox C Injection is a combination of two antibacterial medicines, indicated for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections.

Each vial contains Ampicillin Sodium equivalent to Ampicillin 250 mg, Cloxacillin Sodium equivalent to Cloxacillin 250 mg.

Ampicillin and Cloxacillin both belong to a class of antibacterial medicines. Both medicines prevent bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is required for the bacteria to grow and multiply.

Use of Ampilox C Injection:

Ampilox C Injection is prescribed for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections including post-operative wound & lung infections, respiratory tract infections, fever associated with childbirth, and bacteremia.

Usage Direction of Ampilox C Injection:

  • Ampilox C Injection is intended for intramuscular/intravenous use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
  • Refer the packaging box guidelines to dilute, prepare & fix up the volume for Ampilox C Injection.
  • The reconstituted solution should be used immediately after preparation.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not use more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Ampilox C Injection:

  • If hypersensitive or allergic to Ampilox C Injection, inform the physician immediately.  
  • If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
  • The reconstituted solution should not be allowed to freeze.
  • Do not use the injection if the contents are not clear or contains visible particulate matter after reconstitution.
