About Amoxyclav Injection:

Amoxyclav Injection is a combination of two antibacterial medicines, indicated for short-term treatment of various bacterial infections.

Each combipack contains:

A) Amoxycillin and Potassium Clavulanate Injection 1.2g

Each vial contains Amoxycillin Sodium (Sterile) equivalent to Amoxycillin 1000 mg, Potassium Clavulanate (Sterile) equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 200 mg.

B) Sterile Water for injections 10 ml

Each Ampoule contains Sterile Water for Injections 10 ml

Amoxycillin belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is required for the bacteria to grow and multiply.

Clavulanic acid belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It acts by inactivating some beta-lactamase enzymes that are produced by bacteria, thereby, preventing bacteria from destroying Amoxycillin.
