Amlopres 10
mg tablet is a calcium antagonist, used for the treatment of hypertension.
Each uncoated Amlopres 10 mg tablet contains Amlodipine Besilate equivalent to Amlodipine 10 mg.
Amlodipine, a dihydropyridine Ca-channel blocker, is considered a peripheral arterial vasodilator that exerts its action directly on vascular smooth muscle to lead to a reduction in peripheral vascular resistance, causing a decrease in blood pressure.
Use of Amlopres 10 mg Tablet:
Amlopres 10 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and myocardial ischemia associated with angina pectoris.
Usage direction of Amlopres 10 mg Tablet:
- Amlopres 10 mg tablet should be taken orally.
- Amlopres 10 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
- Do not crush, chew or break the Tablet.
- Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
