About Alex Junior Syrup:

Each 5 ml of Alex Junior syrup contains Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 5 mg and Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg in a Flavoured base q.s.

Dextromethorphan, a centrally-acting antitussive agent, depresses the medullary cough center through sigma receptor stimulation, resulting to decreased sensitivity of cough receptors and interruption of cough impulse transmission.

Chlorpheniramine binds to the histamine H1 receptor. These blocks the action of endogenous histamine, which subsequently leads to temporary relief of the negative symptoms brought on by histamine.

Use of Alex Junior Syrup:

Alex Junior syrup is a combination medication, prescribed for the management of dry cough and upper respiratory symptoms associated with allergic conditions.

Usage direction of Alex Junior Syrup:

• Alex Junior syrup should be taken orally.

• Close the cap tightly after each use.

• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician's advice.

• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Alex Junior Syrup:

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.

• If found any complications, inform the physician immediately.

• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.

Storage condition of Alex Junior Syrup:
