About AD 10 Sachet:
AD 10 Sachet is a class of anti-diarrheal medication indicated for the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea.
Each 1 gm of AD 10 Sachet contains Racecadotril 10 mg.
Racecadotril is an anti-secretory enkephalinase inhibitor that prevents the degradation of Enkephalins, thereby prolonging their action at enkephalinergic synapses in the small intestine. This action reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine, thus preventing diarrhea and associated symptoms.
Use of AD 10 Sachet:
AD 10 Sachet is prescribed for the treatment of acute symptomatic diarrhea in children over three months of age. This medicine is used when an abundant liquid intake and the usual dietary measures are not sufficiently effective on their own to control diarrhea.
Usage Direction of AD 10 Sachet:
- AD 10 Sachet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the Physician.
- AD 10 Sachet is for Paediatric use.
- Cut the AD 10 Sachet along the dotted line and empty contents into a glass.
- Mix with water or any baby food, stir well, and administer orally.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the Physician’s advice.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

- If hypersensitive or allergic to AD 10 Sachet, inform the physician immediately.
