About Actrapid Flexpen 100 IU Injection 3 ml Pen :

Atrapid Flexpen is Soluble Insulin injection I.P. Each ml solution contains 100 IU (3.5 mg) of Human Insulin I.P. (r-DNA origin), Metacresol 3.0 mg (as preservative), Excipients q.s. and water for injections q.s.

Use of Actrapid Flexpen 100 IU Injection 3 ml Pen :

Atrapid Flexpen is prescribed for treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. Atrapid Flexpen may be used for Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes.

Usage direction of Actrapid Flexpen 100 IU Injection 3 ml Pen :

• Use Actrapid Flexpen exactly as your physician tells you. Your physician will tell you the right dose and duration of use as per patient's condition. Never change or skip the dose.
• Before using Actrapid Flexpen know the process of adjusting pen with respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow usage instruction pack inside.
• Administer Actrapid Flexpen subcutaneously into the abdominal area, thigh, or deltoid, and rotate injection sites.
• The solution for injection comes as a clear, colourless, aqueous solution. Do not use Actrapid Flexpen if the solution is coloured or cloudy, or if you see floating particles in the solution.

Precaution & Related information of Actrapid Flexpen 100 IU Injection 3 ml Pen :

• Never share a Actrapid Flexpen, syringe, or needle between patients.
• Please take precaution during the use of Actrapid Flexpen in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
• Do not use Actrapid Flexpen after the expiration date stamped on the label or 28 days after you first use it.
• Do not use the exact same spot for each injection. Do not inject where the skin has pits, is thickened, or has lumps.
• If you are taking any other medication and any other supplement please inform your physician.
• If you find any other complication during taking this medication inform your physician immediately.
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
• Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy or lactation.
• Storage: Store in a refrigerator between 2°C to 8°C. Do not freeze. Protect from light. During use Actrapid Flexpen may be kept at room temperature below 30°C for up to 6 weeks.
• Keep the cap on the pen in order to protect from light.
