About Acnestar Gel:
Acnestar Gel is composed of two medicines namely, Clindamycin and Nicotinamide. Clindamycin is an antibiotic that acts by penetrating inside the skin and helps kill acne-causing bacteria. On the other hand, Nicotinamide is a form of vitamin B that is responsible for exerting anti-inflammatory effects.
Together Clindamycin and nicotinamide in Acnestar Gel are used to treat inflamed acne and to reduce the swelling, redness, and tenderness caused due to acne or pimples.
Composition:
Clindamycin Phosphate equivalent to Clindamycin: 1.0 % w/w, Nicotinamide: 4.0 % w/w, Gel Base q.s.
Use of Acnestar Gel:
- Primarily used to treat inflamed acne
- Kills the acne-causing bacteria
- Reduce the swelling, redness, and tenderness caused due to acne or pimples
Usage Direction of Acnestar Gel:
- Acnestar Gel is intended for external use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
- Replace the cap tightly closed after use.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
- Do not exceed more than the recommended dose.
- Before usage always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.
Precaution & Related Information of Acnestar Gel:
- If hypersensitive or allergic to Acnestar Gel, inform the physician immediately.
- If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
- The physician should be well informed when concomitant usage of this gel with any other products.
- Avoid contact with eyes.
- Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
