Aciloc RD Tablet Overview:

Aciloc RD Tablet is a combination medicine, used to treat symptoms of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) and related digestive issues, when Omeprazole alone is not effective enough to manage.

Gastroesophageal reflux disease occurs when stomach acid flows back into the food pipe, leading to heartburn and possible esophageal injury. Aciloc RD Tablet is composed of two main ingredients: Omeprazole and Domperidone. Omeprazole reduces stomach acid production, while Domperidone helps improve stomach movement and prevents nausea. Together, they effectively manage acid reflux, indigestion, heartburn, stomach pain, peptic ulcers, and other symptoms caused by hyper-acidity.

Composition of Aciloc RD Tablet:

How Aciloc RD Tablet works:

Aciloc RD Tablet contains two active ingredients: Omeprazole and Domperidone, that work together to treat conditions caused by too much stomach acid and improve digestion.

Omeprazole is a selective Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) that works by blocking the proton pump in the stomach lining, which is responsible for producing gastric acid. By inhibiting this enzyme, it effectively reduces stomach acid production, lowering acidity and helping to treat conditions like GERD, acid reflux, and peptic ulcers.

Domperidone, on the other hand, is a gastro-prokinetic and anti-nausea drug. It works by blocking dopamine receptors in the upper part of the digestive system, helping food move through the stomach and preventing nausea and vomiting.
