About Accutaz AS Injection:
Accutaz AS Injection is a combination medication, indicated for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections.
Each vial contains Ceftriaxone Sodium (Sterile) equivalent to Ceftriaxone 1g, Tazobactam Sodium (Sterile) equivalent to Tazobactam 125 mg.
Ceftriaxone belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is required for the bacteria to grow and multiply.
Tazobactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It acts by preventing the breakdown of other antibiotics by beta-lactamase enzyme-producing organisms.
Use of Accutaz AS Injection:
Accutaz AS Injection is prescribed for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections including lower respiratory tract infections & community-acquired pneumonia, acute bacterial otitis media, skin & skin structure infections, urinary tract infections, uncomplicated gonorrhea, pelvic inflammatory disease, bacterial septicemia, bone & joint infections, intra-abdominal infections, bacterial meningitis, peri-operative prophylaxis of infections associated with surgery.
Usage Direction of Accutaz AS Injection:
- Accutaz AS Injection is intended for intramuscular or intravenous use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
- Refer enclosed leaflet for preparation and administration.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
- Do not use more than the prescribed quantity.
Precaution & Related information of Accutaz AS Injection:
- If hypersensitive or allergic to Accutaz AS Injection, inform the physician immediately.
- If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
- Prick the ampoule of Sterile Water for injections provided in this pack only once and discard the ampoule.
- Use freshly prepared solution.
- Do not freeze.
- The reconstituted solution should be used immediately.
- Discard remaining sterile water for injection.
- Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Storage condition of Accutaz AS Injection:
Store in a cool and dry place. Protect from light.
