About ABZ Suspension:

ABZ Suspension is an anthelmintic medication, used for the treatment of parasitic worm infections.

Each 5 ml (One teaspoonful) ABZ Suspension contains Albendazole 200 mg & Flavoured syrupy base q.s.

Albendazole is an anthelmintic that inhibits the microtubule formation by binding to the colchicine-sensitive site of ß-tubulin. This decreased microtubule formation leads to a decline in glucose uptake and depletion of glycogen storage by the adult and larval forms of susceptible parasites. Insufficient glucose causes a lack of ATP production, resulting in the death of parasites.

Use of ABZ Suspension:

ABZ Suspension is prescribed for treatment of single or mixed intestinal parasitic worm infections. It kills the worms that cause infections and prevents newly hatched worms from multiplying.

Usage direction of ABZ Suspension:

• ABZ Suspension should be taken orally.
• Please check the package leaflet or label instruction before administration.
• Shake well before use.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of ABZ Suspension:

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Do not use in pregnancy.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of ABZ Suspension:

Store in a dry place & protect from light.
