Each Optihist Plus Eye drops contains Chlorpheniramine maleate 0.03 % W/V, Sodium chloride 0.05 % W/V, Boric acid 1.25% W/V, Tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride 0.01% W/V, Benzalkonium chloride solution 0.02% V/V (As preservative) and sterile buffered base q.s.
Use of Optihist Plus Eye Drops :
Optihist Plus Eye drops is used to prescribe for the treatment of allergic diseases of the eye. It relieves redness and swelling of the eye and provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort.
Usage direction of Optihist Plus Eye Drops :
- Optihist Plus Eye drops is intended for ophthalmic use only.
- As per the patient’s conditions, the physician/Ophthalmologist will advise the proper dose and the duration of the application.
- Before applying this ophthalmic solution (Eye drops) wash hands first.
- Shake well before use.
- Use the solution within one month after opening the vial.
- It is advised to check the label before apply.
- Don’t skip or stop the dose without doctor’s advice.
- Don’t apply more than the prescribed quantity.
- To pierce the vial, tightening the cap. Replace the cap after every use.
Precaution & Related information of Optihist Plus Eye Drops :
- Optihist Plus Eye drops is for external use only, not for injection.
- Do not touch nozzle tip to any surface since this may contaminate the solution.
- If the solution becomes cloudy or dark brown it should be discarded.
- If irritation persists or increases discontinue the use and consult the physician/Ophthalmologist.
- If allergic to any of the ingredient of this medicine or any other complication appears during the application of this medicine, please consult with the physician/Ophthalmologist immediately.
- Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store in a dry, well ventilated place at a temperature not exceeding 30ºC.
