About Biodine Ointment:

Biodine Ointment is a specially formulated combination cream that is prescribed to treat or prevent skin infection in minor cuts, scrapes, or burns.

Composition:

Povidone-lodine (0.5% W/W available lodine) IP: 5% W/W, Water-soluble Ointment Base q.s.

Povidone-iodine is a topical antiseptic agent used for the treatment and prevention of infection in wounds.

Uses of Biodine Ointment:

Biodine Ointment is prescribed to treat or prevent skin infection in minor cuts, scrapes, or burns.

Uses Direction of Biodine Ointment:

•   Biodine Ointment is intended for topical use only as advised.
•   Apply a thin film gently on the affected skin area as often as necessary according to Dermatologist’s direction.
•   Use regularly to get the most benefit result from it.
•   Do not stop or skip this cream without consulting the doctor.
•   Application more than the prescribed quantity is strictly prohibited.
•   Before application, always go through the leaflet comes up with the product.

Safety Information of Biodine Ointment:

•   If allergic to any ingredients of Biodine Ointment, let the doctors know straight away.
•   If any skin irritation seems visible, make sure the doctor is well informed.
•   Keep the tube tightly closed after every use.
•   Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes.
•   In case of any accident contact, eyes should be thoroughly washed with water.
•   Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
