About Revas AM 2.5 mg Tablet:
Revas AM 2.5 mg Tablet is a combination medication, indicated to manage high blood pressure, and lower the risk of other associated cardiovascular disorders.
Each film-coated Revas AM 2.5 mg Tablet contains Losartan Potassium 25 mg and Amlodipine Besilate equivalent to Amlodipine 2.5 mg.
Losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker. By relaxing the blood vessels, it lowers the blood pressure.
Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker. By relaxing the blood vessels, it lowers blood pressure, thereby, improving blood flow to the heart.
Uses of Revas AM 2.5 mg Tablet:
Revas AM 2.5 mg Tablet is prescribed for the management of hypertension (high blood pressure) and reduces the risk of other associated cardiovascular disorders.
Usage Direction of Revas AM 2.5 mg Tablet:
- Revas AM 2.5 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
- Revas AM 2.5 mg Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
- Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
- Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
- Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.
Precaution & Related information of Revas AM 2.5 mg Tablet:
- Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Revas AM 2.5 mg Tablet.
- Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
- The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Revas AM 2.5 mg Tablet with any other medication.
- Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
