About Quikhale SF 250 mcg Rotacap:

Quikhale SF 250 mcg rotacaps are used to manage asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Each capsule contains Salmeterol Xinafoate equivalent to Salmeterol 50 mcg and Fluticasone Propionate 250 mcg.

Salmeterol is an agonist of beta2-adrenergic receptors (found predominantly in bronchial smooth muscle). Beta-2 adrenoceptor stimulation causes relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle, bronchodilation, and increased airflow.

Fluticasone propionate is a synthetic, trifluorinated glucocorticoid with potent anti-inflammatory activity. It exerts its beneficial effects by inhibiting several types of cells and mediators involved in allergic, immune, and inflammatory responses.

Use of Quikhale SF 250 mcg Rotacap:

Quikhale SF 250 mcg rotacaps are indicated in the regular treatment of asthma, where the use of a combination (long-acting beta2-agonist and inhaled corticosteroid) has been found to be appropriate, and in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Usage direction of Quikhale SF 250 mcg Rotacap:

• Quikhale SF  250 mcg rotacaps are meant for inhalation only and are not to be swallowed.

• Before using Quikhale SF  250 mcg rotacaps, know the administration process properly from the enclosed leaflet.

• Quikhale SF  250 mcg rotacaps are intended for use with Quikhaler only.

• After taking your medicine rinse your mouth with water and spit out.

• Keep the container tightly closed.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

• Do not discontinue without physician’s advice.
